Does my PDF get uploaded anywhere?
No. Splitting happens with JavaScript running in your browser tab. Your file never touches a server — you could disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it would still work.
What do I get back?
One single-page PDF for every page in your original file, each named to match its page number, so a 10-page PDF becomes 10 separate one-page files.
Will this work with password-protected PDFs?
No — encrypted or password-protected PDFs can't be read in the browser. Remove the password first, then split.
Is there a page count or file size limit?
There's no limit we impose — you're only bound by your device's memory. A very large PDF with hundreds of pages may take a few seconds longer to process, or run slower on an older phone or laptop.
Why did "Download all" only save one file?
Some browsers block multiple automatic downloads by default. Look for a permission prompt near your address bar and allow multiple downloads for this site, then try again.
